Description ACS undertook a technical mission to Statistics Sierra Leone (Stats SL) in Freetown to support the adoption and operationalization of a country-owned suite of ECA digital census tools for the 2026 Population and Housing Census. The mission engaged both management and technical teams and focused on practical steps for deployment, configuration, and institutional rollout. Key outputs included stakeholder alignment on the tool suite and governance approach, clarification of a phased implementation pathway (pre-enumeration and post-enumeration), and the handover of core reference materials (presentations, manuals, technical documentation, and source code) needed to continue implementation.
