Description This report presents a stocktaking of ten categories of censuses and surveys conducted by African countries from the earliest historical records to 2026. Data were harvested systematically from national statistical office portals and international repositories using ECA's Intelligence Data Harvester (IDH). Additionally, human intervention was used to source some surveys and censuses missed by the Intelligence Data Harvester. Additional Notes
